OUR VISION

K12 education (Kindergarten through 12th grade) is a vital part of every community, serving as a major foundation of a person's development and future career path. Located in the hub of Atlanta and surrounded by a wide variety K12-related volunteering and professional opportunities, Georgia Tech students are in an ideal position to support K12 education and the important role it plays in society. However, with so many different volunteering and professional outlets available, it's easy to miss many of these opportunities. Students for Education Coalition (SEC) at Georgia Tech was founded with the vision to bring all of these opportunities together and connect them to students who want to get involved with K12 education in any capacity, including anything from tutoring, to volunteering at local schools, to teaching professionally after college.
